When you sign up or sign in, CHOYS emails a six-digit one-time password (OTP) to your work email. You enter it and tap Verify. If it has not turned up, work down this list — it is almost always one of the first two.
Give it a minute
Email is usually instant but not always. Wait a minute before you do anything else, and keep the screen open.
Check your spam folder
This is the most common answer. Look in spam, junk, or whatever your email calls it — and on Gmail, check the Promotions and Updates tabs too. If you find it there, mark it as not spam so the next one comes straight through.
Tap Resend
Resend sits right on the verify screen and sends you a fresh code. Use the newest code — if two arrive, the older one is the one to ignore.
Check the address you typed
Go back a step and read your email address carefully. A missed letter or the wrong domain will send the code somewhere nobody is looking. Make sure it is your work email, since that is what links your account to your organisation's CHOYS programme.
Still nothing? Use Get Help
Get Help sits right on the sign-up and verify screens. It reaches CHOYS via WhatsApp or the website, so you can get a person involved without leaving the flow. You can also email help@getchoys.com.
