Your dashboard tells you what is happening this week. Reporting is for the longer view — the numbers you take into a leadership meeting, or the file you hand to someone who wants to do their own analysis.
Participation and engagement
The CHOYS Admin Portal gives you real-time analytics on participation and survey responses. In practice you are usually looking at three things:
- How many people are taking part — and whether that is going up or down.
- What they are taking part in — mood check-ins, habits, programmes, challenges, games, surveys.
- Who has not started — the group worth a nudge.
Read the AI summary
Rather than reading every chart yourself, you can get a written summary of what the data shows. Treat it as a first read: it points you at what changed and where to look, and you decide whether the explanation holds up. Check anything surprising against the underlying numbers before you repeat it to anyone else.
Export a CSV
When you need the data outside CHOYS — a board pack, your own spreadsheet, a comparison against something else you track — export it as a CSV and open it in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
Making reports useful
- Pick a rhythm and keep it. Monthly is enough for most organisations. Comparing like with like matters more than checking often.
- Pair participation with outcomes. A high participation figure means people showed up. Mood trends and PERMA results tell you whether it helped.
- Report back to your people, not just upwards. Sharing a headline with the whole team is the cheapest way to lift next month's participation.
