We’ve outlined how users and admins can delete their accounts on the CHOYS app. Let’s start by understanding what happens when accounts are deleted.

Understanding Account Deletion on CHOYS

• Account deletion is permanent— once deleted, accounts cannot be recovered.

• The primary owner/administrator controls data for their organisation. This data includes all personal information including full names, email addresses, job titles, and birth dates, etc.

• Accounts can be deleted once the deletion request is verified by the primary owner/administrator.

What is Personal Information?

Here’s what’s included in the employee data on the CHOYS app:

• Full name
• Job title
• Birth date
• Email address
• CHOYS Profile information

Upon completion of the account deletion, the above information will be deleted by the primary owner/administrator.

How to Delete Account on CHOYS?

The following process outlines how users can request the deletion of their account information.

Step 1: Go to 'Manage Your Account'

• Go to your profile and select settings on the top right.

• Select 'Manage Your Account'.

• Select 'Delete Account'.

Step 2: Wait for Primary Owner's Approval

• Once you've selected "Delete Account," you will receive an email from help@getchoys.com starting your account deletion process.

• CHOYS will submit your deletion request to the primary owner/administrator for approval.

• The primary owner/administrator will then delete your account permanently.

*All personal information, including full name, email address, and other relevant details, will be permanently deleted.

Step 3: Receive Email Confirmation

• You will receive an email confirmation once your account is deleted.
