Why does the homepage flicker on iOS?
Issue:
On iOS, some users experience a flickering or unresponsive "Connect to Health App" button when trying to link CHOYS to Apple Health.
Cause:
This usually happens because the Steps data is not enabled in the Apple Health app.
Solution:
Please follow these steps to fix the issue:
- Open the Apple Health app on your iPhone.
- Go to the "Steps" section.
- Make sure the data source (iPhone or Apple Watch) is toggled ON.
- After that, return to the CHOYS app and tap "Connect to Health App" again.
Once Steps tracking is enabled, CHOYS should be able to access your activity data without flickering.
Note:
You only need to do this once. After the initial setup, CHOYS will automatically read your step data from Apple Health.
